Amazing place to stop for authentic Mexican food. Best chips and salsa I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to all dietary restrictions. The food came out extremely fast as well. I've you need to recharge after a long day on the mountain this is the place to stop.
Excellent food! The salsa with the chips is homemade and has a great spice. The chicken in my meal was fresh and the steak is delicious. Decor could use some updating but don't let that stop you from a delicious Mexican meal!
Im from San Diego and this is the only place that does Mexican food justic. This is my favorite place.
Salsa- excellentMole-awesomeMargarita- very, very good. The natural margarita(hopefully its the right name) was one of the best margs I have had in a while.Service was top tier. Sat in the bar and the bartender was on point. Knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely be back.
Come hungry. Almost too much food. Great balance of spice. Makes you thirsty but doesn't burn too much.
Unfortunately I would NOT recommend this restaurant. My friend was served a dish that was incredibly hot, she was not warned, and she ended up burning her hands. It was awful. We asked the server to speak to the manager, and we were watching the interaction - THE MANAGER LAUGHED. I’ve been a waitress for over 12 years and I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and customer service. Another manager came over after an hour and offered us tequila shots to appease things ..... we are not 21 yrs old, we are not here to get drunk, offering free shots does not fix the problem when your servers are laughing at causing burns to your customers. I have been a fan of Copper Mtn for years, but I am deeply disappointed in how servers are treating their customers. I will never be back, and I would not recommend supporting this establishment based on how their customer service. My friend is still wrapping her hands in burn treatments, and we are 3 days later. Very unfortunate.
We were on our way from Aspen to Boulder when we found this place somewhere in the middle. It was like a hidden gem. Amazing food and everything was made fresh. Loved it! Quiet and cozy. Portions are good size. Salsa and chips were complimentary and delicious. Keep it up guys!!
Great food and experience. I've come here every year I've visited copper mountain. The staff seems to do a great job. The older guy bartender has been great as well. Ask him for the local tequila from Mexico where he grew up. Very smooth, good tequila.
